Genre in literature is different from music
Naturalism- facing forces are greater then
Examples: Nature, political forces, economic forces
Realism- keeping things real without exaggerating the truth
Modernism- genre during after of WWI, the fragment of people’s society and rise of tech.
liminal-Not quite what we used to be but not quite what we will become.
Not only can individuals be liminal but jobs can be as well.
2 people who break the rules- the one who don’t the rules, and the one who wants to say something differently. Which shows modernism has broken rules.
Post modernism that is the last genre of this history.
