I find it interesting on how much the educational system has changed today. Before, writing any sort of literature was what you imagine, feel, inform, and etc. ,but now we worry about "what is the tone of the story? how to write a thesis/conclusion. What literary devices are used?" Teachers worry about "okay let's study and work hard for the AP Test." I was discussing this with a couple of friends of mine and realized that teachers never teach anymore they worry about tests and preparation instead of what we actually learned. Do teachers even deserve the title "teacher" when in reality they don't even "teach"? The same goes for us students, all we care about is the good grade ,but never seem to care what we actually learned. My mother always told me that she wanted to go to school more since she only finished elementary and had to work at a young age compared to us who don't want to go to school at all, have no motivation, or even drop out of school. From what I can see the people who want to go to school and want to learn don't have the opportunity, the ones who have the opportunity to go to school have no motivation.
